Meet Alison

 Hello, my name is Alison and I am an Independent Celebrant who can help you to create a ceremony that you will always remember and cherish.

I understand just how important it is for you to choose the right Celebrant for your day, someone you feel comfortable and at ease with.

I am caring and compassionate with a real eye for detail, who will use my skills to write and deliver a bespoke ceremony or life celebration that means something special to you.

For 30 years I have worked as a Police Officer, with the last 5 years as a Detective Inspector where my role required me to ‘give a voice’ to vulnerable people who were unable to articulate what was happening to them. These skills can now be transferred to be ‘your voice’ – whether that be by sharing your love story or celebrating a life well lived, by really getting to know you or your loved one through face-to face meetings in order to accurately reflect your own personal journey. 

I enjoy meeting new people, am a good listener , kind-hearted and have a bubbly and friendly personality, which can help you feel at ease.

When I am not writing Eulogies or Wedding Vows I enjoy walking, dancing and travel.
